Hey guys, Jim Hines here, great podcast good information for everyone. Question(s); 1. When y’all talked about fly line weights and matching to rods, Don mentioned ‘spend the money and get a good line’……. Can he define specifically what he means by a ‘good line’? 2. The discussion of lines went to types of tapers and shooting line. Don’t disagree in general but how about some specifics regarding tapers/ colors etc…for salt vs freshwater and why. 3. How would line tapers/ line weight (over or under lined) help or hurt in a saltwater situation for short or long distance cast.
